{"id":173,"date":"2026-05-22T10:30:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T17:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eaglesbluffhoa.org\/clone\/new\/?page_id=173"},"modified":"2026-05-23T11:00:01","modified_gmt":"2026-05-23T18:00:01","slug":"committees","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/eaglesbluffhoa.org\/clone\/committees\/","title":{"rendered":"Committees"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We are always looking for members interested in joining our Board of Directors, Officers of the Association, or serving on a committee.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Board of Directors<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The By-Laws of the Association set the size of the Board of Directors at five members. The term of office is three years; with vacancies occurring in staggered years to ensure continuity in governance. To become a member of the Board of Directors, you need to be elected by the homeowners at our annual meeting held in January. <br><br>If a vacancy occurs on the Board, a candidate can be appointed to complete that vacant seat\u2019s term of office by the remaining Board members, at the next scheduled Board meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Officers the Association<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officers are appointed by the Board of Directors for a term of one year. This appointment occurs after the annual meeting, or when a vacancy arises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the exceptions for the Office of&nbsp;<em>President<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Vice-President<\/em>, our bylaws require these offices be held by a member of the Board of Directors, any Owner of the Lot in good standing, can be an officer of the association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Officers of the Association are<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>President   (Must be a Board Member)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vice President   (Must be a Board Member)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secretary    (A Member of the Association)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Treasurer   (A Member of the Association)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Committees<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Committees are comprised of homeowners approved by the Board of Directors, to advise the Board on any issues that are of interest to the association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Association has three \u201cstanding committees\u201d\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/eaglesbluffhoa.org\/clone\/committees\/architectural\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Design Review<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/eaglesbluffhoa.org\/clone\/committees\/enforcement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Enforcement<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/eaglesbluffhoa.org\/clone\/committees\/landscape\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Landscape<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additional ad-hoc committees are formed by the Board of Directors as needed, to address any issues of concern to homeowners, or when a capital or maintenance  project arises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A committee shall be comprise of at least three HOA members; except as otherwise approved by the Board of Directors.  Temporary committees are formed as needed, to address issues, recommend improvements, present project proposals, advise and assist the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whenever there are insufficient volunteers to fill committee assignments, the Board shall act as a &#8220;committee of the whole&#8221;.   Obviously, this is not an ideal solution.
